Grammi

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 September 2026

Grammi does not collect personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.

Stays on your device

  • Your food diary, goals, weight, water, recipes and settings are stored on your iPhone — and on your Apple Watch if you use it. The developer has no server and cannot see them.
  • Nutrition labels and meals you photograph are read on the device. The photos are not uploaded or kept.
  • Voice logging uses on-device speech recognition. Audio is not uploaded.
  • If you use the fasting timer, your location is used once to work out suhoor and iftar times on the device. It is not sent anywhere.

What leaves your device

  • Barcodes and search words you look up are sent to Open Food Facts (openfoodfacts.org), an open, non-profit food database, to fetch nutrition data. Nothing that identifies you is sent with them.
  • If you import a recipe from a link, Grammi downloads that page from the website you chose.
  • Purchases are processed by Apple. The developer receives no payment details.

Apple Health

If you turn on Apple Health, Grammi reads your weight and active energy and writes the food you log. This data stays on your device, is never used for advertising and is never shared.

Your control

You can edit or delete any entry, export everything as CSV from Settings, and remove all data by deleting the app.

Children

Grammi is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, this page will show the new date.
