Calorie counter widget for iPhone, in your colour
A calorie counter is most useful when you can see the number without opening anything. Grammi’s widgets put what is left for today on your Home Screen and Lock Screen, in the colour and counter look you chose in the app, and they update as you log.
What the widgets show
- Small: calories left today, drawn in your counter look: the calm bar, the ring or the bold bar. With Pro you can also pick the fuel gauge, the plate of where your calories came from, 200-calorie bites or calories by meal.
- Medium: the same counter, plus rings for carbs, fat and protein, and a line for today’s food game.
- Lock Screen: calories left as a ring, a line of text or a small card.
The widget follows the app: change the colour or the counter look in Grammi and the widget changes with it. In the tinted and clear Home Screen styles of iOS, it takes on the system colour instead.
How to add the widget
- Open Grammi once. Pick your colour and counter look under Appearance; the widget uses them.
- Touch and hold an empty spot on the Home Screen. Tap Edit, then Add Widget.
- Search for Grammi. Choose “Today” in the small or medium size, or the “Calorie sense” game widget, and tap Add Widget.
- For the Lock Screen, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then the widget area, and add Grammi.
Play the daily game on your Home Screen
The game widget shows today’s round of Calorie sense: a food, its portion and four calorie answers. Tap an answer right on the widget. After five foods you see your score and when the next game starts, and your streak counts just as it does in the app.
Control Center buttons
Grammi adds three buttons to Control Center: one adds a glass of water without opening the app, one opens the barcode scanner and one opens today’s game. To add them, open Control Center, tap +, then Add a Control.
What is free and what is Pro
The widgets in your colour, the Lock Screen widgets, the game widget and the Control Center buttons are free. Grammi Pro adds buttons on the medium widget to add water or repeat a meal you ate earlier, four more counter looks, and a Lock Screen countdown for your fast (and for iftar in Ramadan mode) that also shows the calories left. Pro has a 7-day free trial.
Logging every meal and barcode scanning with no daily limit stay free, with no ads and no account. Here is how to count calories for free.
